There is a historic labor shortage in every part of Canada. The need for drivers has never been higher than this before because the trucking industry has been among the most impacted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The NOC 2021, which was released on 16 November by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), includes 16 new occupations to the list of those qualified for Express Entry.

One of them is truck driving because there is a severe labor shortage in the industry. The National Occupation Classification (NOC) system in Canada has undergone a change called NOC 2021.

This merely indicates that the Truckers are now qualified for Express Entry schemes. According to a news release, high-demand industries like transportation, healthcare, and construction would benefit from Canada’s new NOC categories.

A Shortage of truck drivers

The lack of truck drivers in Canada has been a problem for a long time. According to recent reports from the Canadian Trucking Alliance, this is mostly because roughly 25% of transport truck drivers are between the ages of 55 and 64 and are planning to retire in the next few years.

Approximately 48,000 long-haul truck drivers will be lacking in the Canadian trucking industry by 2024, according to statistics and analyses are given by Statistics Canada.

Due to delays imposed by the lack of truckers and the consequent global shortage of raw materials and components, supply chains often need lengthier lead times. The truck driver shortage reflects the present global labor and supply difficulties affecting various businesses in numerous ways.

Coming to Canada through Express Entry

Express Entry is an online system used by the Canadian government to effectively manage applications for skilled workers who want to move to Canada and get Canadian permanent residence status. Three necessary government economic programs are governed under this system:

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)

Federal Skilled Trades (FST)

How is an Express Entry application impacted by a NOC?

The NOC system is used to categorize your employment in order to decide whether you are eligible for Canadian immigration programs. The system assigns codes to each employee. Then, codes are categorized according to the nature of the job and the responsibilities of each job.

The National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 V1.0 is the new system used by the Canadian government which started on November 16, 2022.

The new NOC system will classify jobs according to training, education, experience, and responsibilities (TEER) rather than skill levels.

Applying for Express Entry

Express Entry is a computerized method for handling applications of skilled professionals seeking to immigrate to Canada permanently.

The federal government decides whether a candidate is qualified for a program run by Express Entry once the applicant submits an online profile expressing an interest. The Express Entry pool accepts qualified applicants, who are then ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The government uses the CRS, a points-based system, to evaluate and rank applicants in the Express Entry pool. The CRS score is determined by a candidate’s age, education, employment history, language proficiency, and other characteristics.

The highest-scoring applicants from the Express Entry pool are chosen by the Canadian government every two weeks and given the Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.

Federal Skilled Worker Program

The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program uses the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to evaluate applicants who want to immigrate permanently to Canada. The FSW program is managed through the Express Entry system.

Federal Skilled Workers are not required to have Canadian work experience in order to be considered for the Express Entry pool, in contrast to candidates for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Instead, candidates must achieve a minimum points requirement based on variables such as work experience, language proficiency, and education.

The applicants who receive the highest CRS scores will be invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

Canadian Experience Class

An immigration category called the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) enables people who have worked in Canada for at least a year to enter permanently. Canada’s Express Entry immigration program includes CEC.

The Canadian government recognizes the vast pool of brilliant people already employed there and encourages their application for permanent residency. These are people and families who have established themselves in Canada and have made plans to settle in Canada permanently.

A candidate must have at least 12 months of full-time (or an equivalent number of part-time) skilled job experience in Canada to be qualified for CEC.

A CEC application can be processed in as little as three to four months, making it one of the quickest paths to permanent residence in Canada.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is used by CEC to rank candidates who are interested. The opportunity to apply for Canadian permanent residence will be extended to candidates with competitive CRS scores.

Changes coming to Express Entry

Bill C-19, which will alter how applicants for Express Entry are chosen from the Express Entry pool, is expected to be approved by Canada soon.

Currently, Canada only considers a candidate’s Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) when choosing them for Express Entry. After Bill C-19 is approved the Immigration Minister of Canada would have the power to select candidates based on groups. These classifications would be made by the minister based on the economic objectives of Canada at the time of the draw.

Then Canada could select you based on your ranking within the group. Because of this, the CRS requirement for these draws will probably be far lower than it would be for a regular Express Entry draw.

Which groupings the government will choose is not yet known. These groupings will probably be determined by elements like employment history, educational background, or fluency in one of Canada’s official languages.

Do you intend to continue your study in some of the world’s leading countries? Does the thought of taking the IELTS and passing it seem like a nightmare to you?

We all are well aware that for admission and immigration procedures, students usually need to submit their results from English proficiency exams like the IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.

IELTS, specifically, is one of the leading language competency tests that is widely acknowledged by some major English-speaking nations, including the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, and others.

Furthermore, for students wishing to study in Canada, many academic institutions demand IELTS scores for entrance into their prospective programs.

So, does this mean that your dreams of flying to another nation and receiving the most unparalleled education experiences should take a setback?

Well, we don’t think so!

If you are a student all set to immigrate to Canada for higher education and the thought of IELTS makes it all seem impossible to you, then you’ve come to the right place!

There are some colleges and universities in Canada that do not require IELTS and other English proficiency examinations.

Let’s talk about how people generally perceive IELTS and then show you the truth.

Is IELTS mandatory For Canada?

To study in Canada, you are not mandated to have an IELTS score.

In recent times, owing to the pandemic and the lockdown IELTS communication centres were closed, thus certain countries like the UK and Canada changed their Student Visa Rules.

This means that many Canadian Universities may consider your application without IELTS and admit you if you meet one of the following criteria:

You’ve shown up and managed to score up to the mark in alternative English Proficiency tests like (TOEFL).

You’ve completed your school education through English Medium for four or more years.

You are a native of any English country or you have appeared for a university or college’s English course for a minimum of one semester or a year.

Recently, most Canadian universities have started accepting the DUOLINGO English proficiency test for admission into their universities.

Where can I study in Canada without IELTS?

Can I go to Canada without IELTS for a job?

Even if you have two years of job experience, working in Canada without a strong IELTS score can be next to impossible.

IELTS testing is required for anyone requesting a Canadian Permanent Resident Visa. Your IELTS score will have a considerable impact on the CRS score you receive for Express Entry. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain a Canada Work Visa without first qualifying for the IELTS test with the necessary bands.

The only option to become a permanent resident of Canada without having taken the IELTS test is temporary, such as on a visiting or work visa. Because you must be able to communicate in English at your workplace, with neighbours, doctors, and other people as a permanent resident.

How to apply for a PR Visa without IELTS in Canada?

Although it is difficult to immigrate to Canada without a valid IELTS score, some provincial nominee programs for skilled immigrants have lower IELTS score requirements.

Here are a few of them:

1. Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

Every Canadian province and territory has its immigration policy, which is referred to as the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is the name of Saskatchewan’s PNP program.

One of its key characteristics is its low IELTS score requirement. An applicant is qualified to be nominated by SINP for a permanent resident of the province if they meet the minimum CLB level of 4.5. If you have a basic command of the English language then you can easily achieve the minimal IELTS score required for the SINP.

2. Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)

The Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador provinces make up the Atlantic region of Canada. Through the relatively new Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), you can live there as permanent residents. Employers in the Atlantic can use this system to fill positions with eligible applicants.

Before applying for this program, you must already have a job offer. A very low IELTS score with a CLB of 4 or higher is required for the program. You can certainly choose the provincial nominee route if you want to study or work in Canada without having an IELTS score that is at least CLB 7.

For the last several months, borders have been closed to unprecedented levels due to the global outbreak of the Coronavirus. Many overseas travellers and enterprises are affected by COVID 19. With so much uncertainty hanging over the globe, it’s critical that you keep up to current on the latest developments in this unprecedented state of Lockdown, which affects us all in Canada immigration.

However, notwithstanding the ban, Canada continues to process visas, eTAs, student visas, and immigration applications, to welcome 1 million foreign citizens to the country by 2022. Immigrants are seen as a potential source of growth for the Canadian economy.

As a result, you may begin preparing for a successful public relations application at any moment.

Keeping this in mind, if you plan on moving there in 2021, applying now is the best option. Requesting permanent resident status in Canada PR may take anywhere from six months to a year.

Make sure you’re raising your CRS score if you’ve already decided on Canadian citizenship with the help of Canadian immigration consultants in the UAE. You may improve your CRS score in several ways.

Improve your IELTS scores

Your language proficiency heavily influences your CRS score. In terms of boosting your CRS score, increasing your language scores is the most straightforward way. It is possible to earn up to 136 points in the language part and an additional 100 points under the sub-factors of the Skill Transferability section if your language test result equals the Canadian Language Benchmark of 9.

Attending a French-language exam might potentially get you up to 24 points. This is a great moment to study a new language and boost your CRS score by 24 points.

The Potentials of PNP

Maintain a current understanding of all upcoming PNP events with the assistance of the best Canadian immigration consultants in the UAE. CRS scores might rise by up to 600 points if you are nominated by one of Canada’s provinces. If you’re working with a consultant, make sure they keep an eye out for when the provincial nomination programs are available so that you don’t miss out. Your chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply, ITA, may indeed be improved due to this.

In addition to this, you may take additional steps to improve your CRS score. Your principal applicant might be your spouse or common-law partner if they have more points.

At a moment like this, it’s critical to take a close look at the PR process to see how we can improve our submission.

As a “Golden Opportunity for a Brighter Future,” take advantage of this.

While many people believe that this lockdown time would sabotage their Canada PR plans, this is not the case. Things, on the other hand, maybe highly different. It’s critical that you practise your PR application at a time like this. Make the most of this time to ensure that your CRS score is as high as possible.

There are several advantages to becoming a permanent resident of Canada. As long as you have a job, you may relocate to any part of the nation. Getting maple country a good reputation might offer you a whole new universe of job possibilities.

As a result of the present epidemic, a permanent resident of Canada has access to free, high-quality health care. Free medical treatment is available to all Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Health care services in Canada operate 24 hours a day to ensure that Canadians are well-protected throughout this present epidemic.

The most crucial benefit of obtaining permanent residence in Canada is that it allows you to bring your spouse and children. Passing the Express Entry process might mean including your family as part of your original application. If these times have taught us anything, nothing is more essential than the well-being and security of your loved ones.

Citizens of other countries cannot take advantage of the many advantages that come with becoming a Canadian citizen.

At a moment like this, it’s critical to take a close look at the PR process to see how we can improve our submission. It may seem challenging to get a Canada PR, but with the help of the best Canada PR Consultant, you may realize your worldwide ambitions. Remember, however, that this is just a member of the ICCRC whom the Canadian government has approved.

Tech Canada Startup Visa in the United Arab Emirates have captured the attention of global investors with their outstanding growth in just three years.

But, the Covid-19 pandemic slowed down the economy of the UAE by affecting the tourism and transportation sector as a solution; entrepreneurs are looking for the best immigration consultants in UAE to expand their business under the Startup Visa program.

The World Bank’s “Doing Business Project” has ranked Canada as the third most suitable place on the list to nurture your startup business.

Migrating to another country is not a piece of cake and might seem like a never-ending task.

This is where the best immigrant consultants in Dubai, UAE, play a vital role.

Benefits to Hire an Immigration consultant for Visa:

It makes the process smoother and error-free

Save your time and energy.

You don’t need to research immigration rules and restrictions.

While choosing an experienced Canadian immigration consultant in UAE, here are a few points you should keep in mind:

Always check whether your immigration consultant in Dubai has certification of ICCRC.

Even a tiny mistake can result in the termination of your application. So it’s better to check the authenticity of immigration consultants. Ask for previous clients’ written or video testimonials.

Reputable immigration consultants always remain active on social media accounts and connect with their clients.

Before hiring any immigration consultancy in Dubai, check its records and reputation. Ask for their previous client’s reference to verify its legitimacy.

The Visa program helps incorporate the country’s economic goals with a faster immigration process. Starting with a short-term work permit and moving forward to permanent residence and citizenship. Immigration consultants in UAE help candidates to prove clear support from Canadian investors and are willing to invest in your business scheme.

As per the program, there are three types of private-sector investors you can approach for funding: angel investors, venture capital funds, and business incubators.

The Start-Up Visa program provides a growth opportunity to qualified budding entrepreneurs and, at the same time, gives them a chance to avail of permanent Canadian residence.

Entrepreneurs have to depend on at supported by nominated investors till the approval of their permanent residence.

Further, there are some requirements and rules that your Canadian immigration consultant in UAE will explain to you in detail, which are essential has to become eligible for the Visa program:

Have a qualifying business (Not more than five candidates can apply as owners, candidate must hold 10% or more of voting rights attached to all outstanding shares of the corporation)

Must get a letter of support and commitment certificate from a designated venture capitalist, startup incubator, or seed funder in Canada to showcase that your startup idea is doable.

Be fluent in either English or French as per the Canadian benchmark level 5.

Should have enough funds to settle in Canada (It depends on the number of members you’re planning to bring along with you)

Clear all the necessary medical tests and security concerns.

Once a startup meets all the aforementioned conditions, acquiring a minimum investment commitment is the next step.

For a venture capital fund, the minimum investment cap is USD 200,000.

But you can resource this funding from two or more designated venture capitalists altogether $200,000.

If you seek investment from an angel investor, you must secure a minimum financial commitment requirement of USD 75,000.

Further, Candidates must apply for the Canadian business incubator membership program.

There is no compulsion for candidates to invest their own money regarding capital.

For those entrepreneurs who have acquired permanent residence under this program, even if their startup idea fails, it won’t affect their residency.

How to avail support for investors to get Canada startup Visa?

Getting a commitment for startup capital from a venture firm or seed funder in Canada under the Visa program is a long haul, especially for budding entrepreneurs.

Make a list of designated startup VCs, business incubators, and angel investors in Canada that connects with your business niche.

Approach relevant organizations and pitch your visa idea and let them take their time to study your proposal and wait for their response.

Fortunately, if your business scheme interests the investors, it’s time for an official meeting and explain your plan in detail.

Once you receive an investment commitment certificate, accede to your application for a visa.

Process of permanent residence through Visa:

The Canadian government is gearing up the Express Entry system to benefit international students. The Start-Up Visa program has opened the doors for global students. But it doesn’t guarantee to qualify for the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which requires a minimum score of over 470.

Here comes the Visa program as a solution to shift from temporary to permanent residence.

With other government and state-level visa programs, it has a mandatory requirement. An entrepreneur should have previous experience of at least one year in either owning a business or being a member of top-level management.

The visa program is entirely flexible and has no requirement for past management experience.

Ensuring the support from a Canadian government-approved investor is sufficient.

The support can either be in monetary form or accepting an application as a member of a business incubator program.

The experiences of immigrants from the UAE are entirely satisfactory for the visa program.

Suppose you have a scalable startup project scheme and the best Canadian immigration consultant in UAE. In that case, it can take up to five to six months to complete the process of a letter of support or commitment certificate from a designated investor.

Further, you can look forward to applying for a permanent residence visa, and the approval can take one and a half years.

As we mentioned earlier, up to 5 applicants can apply for permanent residence under one business investment. Yet, there are certain risks involved that you must discuss in advance with your immigration consultant in Dubai. Unfortunately, if any of the essential applicants change their minds, all have to bear the loss as it may cancel all applications.

Various jobs are available in Canada in many different fields. As of September, over 800,000 job openings in Canada, ranging from entry-level to senior positions.

Types of Canada Work Permit

A2W consultants, the best immigration consultants in UAE, provide an end-to-end solution for aspirants who wish to work temporarily in Canada and need a Canada work permit. Canadian work permits are divided mainly into two categories.

Open Work Permit

Employer Specific Work Permit

Openwork permit

You can work for any employer in Canada with an open work permit, except for those who are ineligible. In addition, there are specific circumstances in which you may be eligible for an open work permit in Canada. For example, you may be eligible for an open Canada work permit if you are the spouse or family member of someone working temporarily in Canada at a university or college.

Employer specific work permit

Foreign nationals with employer-specific work permits can work in Canada as long as they meet certain conditions outlined in the work permit, which includes:

Your potential employer’s name,

The duration of your employment with the employer mentioned

Working at a particular location (if applicable).

Canada Work Permit From UAE Requirements

The best Canadian immigration consultant in UAE A2W consultants is all in for skilled workers requiring work permits to work in Canada. Requirements for the Canadian Work permit are as follows:

Before getting a Temporary Work Permit from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), a worker must offer employment from a Canadian employer.

An application for a work permit could take approximately 24 weeks to process if you are from the Middle East.

Some occupations require approval from the LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment). Employers in Canada might have to obtain the LMIA to hire foreign workers.

The LMIA will show that foreign workers are needed for the job. This will also demonstrate that there aren’t many qualified Canadians available for the job.

A work permit can be issued only after the employer has obtained approval from the LMIA. Workers must meet the following requirements for getting a work permit:

Letter of an employment offer,

The contract,

LMIA copy, and

The number assigned to LMIA.

How to apply for a Work Permit in Canada

A2W Canada immigration consultants in UAE in getting the work permit will go through all the paperwork you need. Below check how you can apply for a Canadian Work Visa from the UAE.

Step 1: Employers apply for LMIA

A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) may be required before an employer hires a foreign worker. LMIAs will demonstrate the need for a foreign worker to fill the position.

Step 2: Once the LMIA has been approved, the employer will send the employee the temporary job offer and LMIA document.

When a company receives a positive LMIA, it must send a copy of the approval letter to the skilled foreign worker along with the details of the job offer letter since that person needs both documents to apply for a work permit in Canada. The ‘Job Offer Letter’ or employment contract must contain the following information:

➔ Title of the job

➔ Description of the job

➔ Position requirements such as responsibilities and roles

➔ Dates and times of start and end

➔ Information about salaries and their breakdown

➔ Address and name of the employer

Step 3: The skilled foreign worker now can apply for a Canadian work visa from the UAE

You can now begin the process of obtaining a Canadian Work Permit after receiving an LMIA approval letter and ‘Job Offer Letter.

➔ If you seek a temporary work permit for Canada, you should submit your application to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

➔ To work temporarily in Quebec, you might also need to obtain a Certificat d’acceptation du Québec (CAQ) from the Canadian employer hiring you.

➔ A visa officer may require you to attend an interview when applying for a temporary Canada work permit visa. The visa officer will also assess your application, job profile, etc., to see how your employment may affect Canadians’ chances of finding work.

➔ The visa officer will grant you a Canada Work Permit if they are satisfied with your overall assessment.

➔ You may also be asked to schedule a medical exam before arriving by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Your type of employment in Canada may require it.

Step 4: You will receive a temporary work permit from Canada

Upon entry into Canada, you will be given a Canadian Temporary Work Permit by a Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) agent. For some foreigners, a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) may also be required to enter Canada. Therefore, before you depart from your country or region, you must apply for a temporary resident visa at the Canadian visa office responsible for your country or region. Once you have been assessed, the team will issue you a TRV affixed to your passport.

Saskatchewan and its new Pilot Program Policy

Saskatchewan is the only Canadian province that does not have a natural border. This area receives more sunshine than any other Canadian Province. Its rich ingenious history, natural landscape, traditional structures along with a progressive business environment has recently been attracting people for multiple reasons. A major force was the launch of a New International Healthcare worker EOI pool on November 5, 2021.

The Expression of Interest (EOI) pool is a new international healthcare worker program. This program matches the healthcare personnel with career opportunities which is the need of the hour. The system will also help match eligible foreign applicants with healthcare employees in Saskatchewan.

Here we will list the eligibility, requirements, and procedure to be a part of this program and tell you how A2W Consultants can help you through this.

Basic Criteria for the Saskatchewan EOI Pool

Education and training in the field applied for

Practical skills in the field

Language abilities and proficiency in English

Age requirements

Candidature to apply for SINP

After meeting the different stages of application through their government website, certain candidates with in-demand skills will directly be contacted. This will happen through the official Saskatchewan portal. These candidates will be shared some details on how to apply for a particular job opportunity in Saskatchewan.

Is Saskatchewan PNP easy?

Immigrants in Saskatchewan can apply for provincial nomination through the following channels:

Occupation in Demand (OID)

This route is for those who have worked in Saskatchewan’s high-demand occupations. Their profession should be included in the SINP’s list of in-demand occupations. As a result, they must also meet the stream’s basic requirements.

The OID stream has the simplest requirements

CLB 4 competency in the primary language is all that is required.

Candidates who receive the nomination are also eligible to apply to Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada for Permanent Residency in Canada.

Express Entry:

To apply for this keystream of the SINP, you must have an Express Entry profile and meet the basic requirements of the SINP-EE Subcategory. The Express Entry data is accessible to SINP further it assesses the profiles and notifies those who are qualified to apply in this field.

Following that, the applications are nominated by Saskatchewan.

This qualifies them for an additional 600 CRS points in the express entry. Such criteria ensure that applicants receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the IRCC.

As a result, SINP provides two of the simplest ways to gain permanent residency in Canada via Provincial Nomination.

The SINP has also established a new Expression of Interest (EOI) system, which streamlines the application process even further for future immigrants.

How do I get PR in Saskatchewan?

For aspiring immigrants, Saskatchewan is the top immigration destination as it provides the quickest route to Permanent Residency in Canada. SINP is one of the easiest ways to get PR in Canada.

Can I apply for Saskatchewan PNP without a job offer?

If you want to live and work in Saskatchewan, Canada, you may be eligible for two immigration paths even if you don’t have a job offer.

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is one of several Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) that provide immigration possibilities for overseas applicants who have not been offered a job.

Two provincial nomination streams do not require job offers among the several streams operating under the SINP.

The first is the Saskatchewan Express Entry-linked stream, which, to apply, requires an active profile in the federal Express Entry system.

The Express Entry sub-category is a PNP that is tied to the federal Express Entry system. Candidates that receive a provincial nomination from the province of Saskatchewan will receive an extra 600 points on their CRS score. This prize effectively ensures that they will be able to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

The second option is to apply for a Saskatchewan Occupation In-Demand stream, that does not necessitate an Express Entry profile. The stream is intended to bring qualified labor to market to fill gaps.

A candidate should have a minimum of one year of professional experience in one of the occupations on Saskatchewan’s Occupations In-Demand list to be considered.

How are PNP points calculated in Saskatchewan?

The acceptability of a candidate’s application for provincial nomination under SINP is determined by factors including:

a) Education & Training: Candidates can accumulate points based on verification of completion of post-secondary education and/or training programs.

To obtain points under this, diplomas, certificates, or degrees must be submitted with full records.

b) Skilled Work Experience: Points are provided to candidates based on their work experience in a specialty area (NOC skill level 0, A, or B) over the previous ten years.

Each year of work experience in the last five years is worth two points, and each year in the six to ten years before applying is worth one point. A candidate must have one year of full-time paid work experience in his preferred occupation to be considered.

c) Language aptitude: Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to communicate in either English or French. Candidates must take a language exam administered by a SINP-approved grammar test, such as the IELTS for English or the TEF for French, to demonstrate their ability. Candidates must have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 4 or above to be considered.

d) Age: Candidates are given points based on their age at the time of application.

e) Connections if any in the province: The candidates will be scored based on their employment history in Saskatchewan and their ability to settle and establish themselves as a permanent resident in the province, as indicated by document proof of a high-skilled job offer.

Candidates must have a minimum of 60 points to be considered for a provincial nomination, as stated above. To find out how many points are allocated to each of these categories, read our guide on the Saskatchewan PNP points calculator.

Saskatchewan PNP (SINP) – Explained

Saskatchewan is a part of Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program or PNP. The SINP or the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program refers to Saskatchewan PNP.

Except for Nunavut and Quebec, which have their immigration schemes, nearly every Canadian province and territory has its own Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

The ability for provincial governments to select immigration candidates who satisfy their local labor market needs and regulate the regional settling of the immigrant population within their authority is made possible by having their immigration programs.

Each province sets its standards for determining which foreign employees are eligible for permanent residence in Canada under its PNP.

The PNP is a complement to federal immigration policies that allow Canadian provinces to play a vital role in immigrant selection. Since its inception in 1998, the PNP has grown to become Canada’s second most popular pathway to permanent residency.

From 2021 to 2023, PNPs are going to result in the admission of more than 80,000 international immigrants as permanent residents in Canada.

It was meant to satisfy the province’s economic and labor market needs through immigration. Workers nominated through this stream would have the support of their employers and the community behind them, which would help them succeed.

Saskatchewan has announced the latest Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot Program on November 25, 2021.

The Benefits of Applying for a PR Visa in the SINP-ISW Stream

The quickest way to become a permanent resident of Canada

To apply, no work offer from Canada is required.

Minimum English language proficiency (CLB 4) is required.

Timely application processing

We have a team of highly qualified Canadian immigration advisors at A2W that are solely dedicated to assisting you with your immigration procedure. Our ultimate aim is to make your immigration process as smooth as possible.

SINP Documents Requirement 2021

The following documents are required to apply for the SINP Express entrance and OID sub-category:

A certified French language proficiency test or an IELTS test score for English language proficiency.

WES or any other suitable evaluating authority, such as ICAS, IQAS, etc. ECA (Educational Credential Assessment).

Other basic documentation is required by the SINP-Express entry or OID Sub-category in question.

Saskatchewan PNP Processing Time 2021

The SINP processing time is calculated in weeks and is updated every three months to reflect the most recent SINP application processing time status. You can contact A2W Consultants to get the most up-to-date information on the processing duration.

All ISW and Saskatchewan Experience applications will be processed within 16 weeks, according to the SINP. An applicant must provide all information and supporting papers for SINP to process their application.

The processing time listed below is the average processing time computed for 80% of applications. From the time the application is received to the time it is processed, the time is calculated.

SINP Rule changes 2021

To accept applications for its OID and Express Entry subcategories, the SINP recently replaced its traditional first-come, the first-served system with a new EOI (Expression of Interest) based approach. Applicants now have sufficient time to complete their EOI profile in the Saskatchewan system. The province of Saskatchewan evaluates the submitted expressions of interest and then sends out invitations to apply for a provincial nomination to those who are chosen.

2021 SINP Points Calculator

To apply under a SINP International Skilled Worker (ISW) sub-category, you must score at least 60 points out of 110 on the Saskatchewan Points Calculator or Point’s assessment grid.

The SINP provides a route to citizenship in Canada. Saskatchewan – through the SINP

Nominates candidates for Canada PR to the federal government, and

Non-Canadians who plan to settle in Saskatchewan are invited to apply for residency.

All candidates who have been nominated will be identified as SINP nominees. Individuals who meet these criteria can then apply for permanent status through Immigration, Refugees and, Citizenship Canada [IRCC]. Candidates that are eligible for the SINP International Skilled Worker [ISW] pathway receive invitations from Saskatchewan.

How does SIPN Works?

For the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand sub-categories, Saskatchewan uses an Expression of Interest (EOI).

You must first submit your EOI using the SINP Apply Online platform, where you will be required to complete a form. The information you provide on the form will be used to determine your eligibility.

To be eligible for the EOI pool, you must score 60 out of 110 on the EOI Points Grid. The EOI Points Grid evaluates you based on five criteria: education and training, skilled work experience, language ability, age, and ties to the Saskatchewan labor market, as well as adaptability.

If you are chosen, you will be invited to participate in an EOI draw.

You can now apply to the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program for a provincial nomination (SINP). This can also be done through the same gateway.

You can apply immediately without registering an EOI if you have a job offer and are applying under the Employment Offer sub-category.

After your application is granted, you can apply directly to IRCC for permanent residency. Saskatchewan will enter the information of your nomination into the system if you apply through the Express Entry sub-category. This means you’ll receive an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, thus ensuring that you’ll be invited to apply for permanent residence in the next Express Entry draw.

What is CRS score?

Express Entry Canada uses an immigration selection system that scores individuals based on their immigration profile. Under this, the people who wish to immigrate to Canada are assigned points or CRS Scores based on a few factors.

Comprehensive Ranking System (or CRS) is thus a score used to assess you and consequently rank your profile in the express entry pool.

Out of these profiles in the express entry pool, the ICCRC performs frequent Express Entry Draws that happen almost every two weeks. The profiles that have the highest rank are then issued an ITA or Invitation to Apply for Canada permanent residency.

Thus, the CRS Score is used to rank your profile in the Express Entry pool that ultimately decides if you get an ITA for Canada or not.

This score helps you rank high in the express entry pool and settle permanently through the Express Entry System in Canada.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a merit-based scoring system created by the Canadian government for ranking the profiles of immigration candidates. This score is awarded to each applicant in the Express Entry pool.

CRS is used to examine your-

Education

Language skills

Work experience

The Comprehensive Ranking System, or CRS, assigns a score out of 1,200 to candidates in the pool.

There are options for single applicants who do not have a spouse or common-law partner:

Up to 500 points are allotted for core human capital factors. This includes factors such as age, educational qualification, language proficiency, and Canadian work experience

Up to 100 points are allotted for skill transferability factors; and

Up to 600 points are allotted for other factors (like a provincial nomination, valid job offers, Canadian study experience, a sibling in Canada, and/or French language ability).

There are several options for candidates who are accompanied by a spouse or common-law partner:

Up to 460 points are allotted for core human capital factors of the principal applicant;

Up to 40 points are allotted for the core human capital factors of the spouse or common-law partner;

Up to 100 points are allotted for skill transferability factors; and

Up to 600 points are allotted for additional factors.

Factors that affect your CRS score & their points breakdown:

Human capital factor-

human capital is the economic value of a worker’s expertise and talents. Factors like education, training, intelligence, skills, health, and other qualities that are valued by employers, such as loyalty and punctuality, are all examples of human capital.

This explains that human capital is an intangible asset or characteristic that does not (and cannot) appear on a company’s balance sheet. Human capital is thought to boost productivity and consequently profits.

Your human capital score is calculated based on various factors like your age, education, work experience, language ability, and adaptability.

You can gain a maximum of 500 points under the human capital factor based on your expertise.

Spouse or common-law partner factors-

Immigration law treats both these forms of relationships in the same way. The key distinction between the two is the level of proof required to establish the association.

You can get a maximum score of 500 under this factor if your spouse or common-law partner does not accompany you to Canada. If your spouse or common-law partner accompanies you to Canada then you will get a maximum score of 460.

Skill transferability-

You can earn a maximum of 100 points under this factor. The three important factors that are considered under Skill transferability include:

Education: You can get 50 points if you have a high level of communication ability and a post-secondary degree, or if you have Canadian job experience combined with a post-secondary degree.

Work Experience: You will receive 50 points if you have foreign work experience combined with high-level English proficiency or if you have Canadian work experience paired with foreign work experience.

Canadian qualifications: If you acquire a certificate of qualification from Canada with a high degree of language abilities, this will earn you another 50 points.

Additional points-

You can gain a maximum of 600 points based on certain factors which include:

What minimum CRS score is required to get PR in Canada?

To be able to apply for permanent residence in Canada through the Express Entry system, you must have a minimum CRS score of 67 points out of 100.

When you apply for a permanent residency in Canada, you will get points under the following different categories:

Age

12 points maximum

However, you are still not guaranteed to get an Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence if you are approved into the Express Entry pool. A high CRS Score is a must for an invitation.

What is a good Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score?

Although the lowest CRS score required to get an ITA in Canada’s historic February 2021 draw for Canadian Experience Class candidates was only 75, the lowest CRS score chosen in 2020 (excluding program-specific drawings) was 468.

The lowest cut-off in a draw in 2019 was 438, in 2018 it was 439, and it was just 413 in 2017.

It is because the CRS cut-off score cannot be predicted ahead of time for each draw, it is crucial for you to improve your CRS score whenever possible.

A2W is the best immigration consultant in Dubai here to solve all your Canada Immigration dreams. Get in touch today if you have any Canada Immigration related concerns.

What is the lowest CRS score to enter the Express Entry pool?

To be considered for the Express Entry pool of candidates, no minimum CRS score is necessary.

The CRS cut-off varies from draw to draw and might rise or fall depending on a variety of circumstances.

Before each round of invitations, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) does not provide the minimum required CRS score.

As a result, the higher your CRS score, the better your chances of acquiring an ITA.

What is the reason behind my poor CRS score?

There are several reasons why a candidate’s CRS score may be lower than anticipated when they first enter the pool of applicants. You can see where you might be losing points by comparing our summary of maximum CRS points to your score.

While a low CRS score can be frustrating, the good news is that you can still increase your pool rating once your profile is uploaded. After earning extra work experience, retaking their language exam, securing a Canadian employment offer, or deciding to study in Canada, many candidates are successful in boosting their CRS score. It’s never too late to get better!

Contact A2W Consultants the most trusted immigration consultancy in Dubai to know all about how you can confirm your Canada permanent residency.

How can you improve your CRS score?

You can enhance your CRS score in a variety of ways, including:

Focus on your languages-

Learning a second official language and taking certified language tests is a superb method to maximize your language points, and it’s one of those areas where small improvements can add up to big results.

One of the best aspects of the language tests required for immigration is that you can retake them if you want to improve your score.

If you don’t get a good score on your first attempt, you can enroll in some language programs and reapply to increase your CRS score.

Increase your work experience-

If you’re applying for a Canadian visa from outside the country and don’t have more than three years of work experience, it’s a good idea to add a year or two to your job experience which will help you increase your points.

You will manage to claim more CRS points if you have Canadian Work experience of five years or more.

Also, when you create your Express Entry profile, make sure to mention that you are still employed in Canada so that your points will automatically rise as your work experience grows.

If you get a provincial nomination (PNP)-

PNP is a program that allows you to immigrate to Canada when you are nominated by a province or territory. Provincial nomination can provide you with 600 CRS points.

Obtain another qualification-

We all know that completing another educational program takes time, but it can help you improve your CRS score in the long run.

With a higher degree of education, you will not only be able to earn more skilled labor points, but you will also be able to earn more skills suitability points.

Having a job offer in Canada-

Obtaining a job offer in Canada before you move is always a good idea, but it’s important to remember that it must meet certain requirements if you want to claim points for it.

The job must be a full-time, ongoing paid employment offer for a minimum of one year, and your employer must show the offer in writing.

If you have a genuine work offer, you will not only make things easier for yourself once you get in Canada but you will also be able to add up to 200 CRS points to your score.

If you have a Sibling in Canada-

You can earn an extra 15 points simply by having a sibling by blood, adoption, marriage, or common-law partnership, but you must be able to present proof of your relation, such as a birth certificate.

You can use a CRS Calculator-

If you’re not sure how to raise your CRS score or what steps to take, a CRS calculator is your best option.

The government provides a fantastic CRS tool that is free to use, but some immigration firms will either provide a free evaluation or have built their own CRS calculator to provide a more accurate result that suits your case.

We at A2W not only provide free first consultation, but if you become one of our esteemed clients, you will also receive an in-depth CRS evaluation that identifies areas where you could improve your CRS score.

What is the latest CRS score cut-off?

The latest CRS score cut-off in the Express Entry invitation is 685.

If you have achieved this score or higher then you will be invited to apply for Express Entry.

This cut-off score is only for candidates in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

(PNP is a program that allows you to immigrate to Canada when you are nominated by a Canadian province or territory.)

Will CRS score drop in 2021?

The CRS score is expected to be reduced in 2021, for several reasons.

Canada has set a high immigration target for 2021, with 403,000 new immigrants expected to enter the country.

The Express Entry System is issuing more ITAs than it has ever before-

Despite the travel limitations and other obstacles that 2020 brought, Canada’s Express Entry system had a busy year.

In the last three Express Entry draws, a greater number of invitations to apply for permanent residence in Canada were given out.

This trend is expected to continue in 2021, with more foreign immigrants being allowed to enter Canada using the Express Entry system.

Canada is putting money into modernizing its immigration system-

Canada will invest a huge amount of money over the next five years to reform its immigration system.

The goal of these investments is to help Canada execute its immigration plan, which will allow the country to welcome up to 1.2 million immigrants in the next three years. Foreign nationals should expect speedier processing times and a much simpler document submission process shortly.

What is the impact of Covid-19 on the Express Entry?

The Express Entry and associated draws are unaffected by the Covid-19.

The Federal Government, as well as PNP governments, are actively holding draws and inviting applicants to apply for permanent residency.

In reality, additional draws are taking place, and ITAs are granted in huge numbers.

The Canadian government is taking every precaution to combat the Covid-19 crisis and has made various policy adjustments as well as placed travel restrictions throughout the outbreak.

Is Canada Cheap to Study?

Yes, Canada is cheap to study when compared to other English-speaking countries. The reason for this can be understood below:

In comparison to other English-speaking countries, Canada offers some of the cheapest tuition prices for international students.

In Canada, accommodation can cost anywhere from $500 to $1,500 per month, while living on campus costs anywhere from $2,300 to $6,000 per year.

Your monthly grocery bill in Canada will be around $150-$190. On-campus food plans are essential for resident students at several institutions and can cost up to $4,000 per year.

Is it possible to get a full scholarship in Canada?

A non-governmental scholarship known as Canada Memorial Scholarship offers a full scholarship for British postgraduate students to study at any authorized Canadian higher education institution, including tuition, flights, and housing.

A variety of other scholarships to study in Canada are perhaps one of the country’s most appealing features. Full scholarships granted by the Canadian government and foundations assist both Canadian and international students in relieving financial hardships. Check out Scholarship Story’s guide on Full scholarships in Canada to claim your Canadian Scholarship.

Who can Sponsor me to study in Canada?

Only a family member can sponsor you to study in Canada. Eligible family members who can sponsor you include your spouse, common-Law partner, or dependent children.

Does a Canadian student visa get rejected?

Yes, your Canadian student visa can be rejected. The most common reasons for rejection of a student visa are-

Not including a letter of acceptance:

A letter of acceptance (LOA) from a Canadian host university on the authorized learning institutions list is required before applying for a visa. If the truthfulness of your LOA is questioned, or if you fail to meet the program’s requirements, the visa officer may reject your registration.

Financial reasons:

Applicants must submit a bank record as part of the Canadian visa application procedure. These documents demonstrate your ability to support oneself while studying in Canada.

A visa officer may decline your registration if you are doubtful about your ability to pay for transport costs, tuition costs, and day-to-day living in Canada.

Failure to leave the country at the end of your studies:

It’s essential to keep in mind that a student visa is simply a temporary one, with a termination date. As a result, a visa officer must have faith in your ability to return to your homeland after your approved stay.

Issues with travel or Identity document:

You need to Submit all necessary (and correct) paperwork, including a valid passport, recent pictures, and completely filled-out forms. These documents will be used by the visa officer to evaluate if you are eligible to enter Canada.

Academic Performance:

Officers looking to grant visas check for uniformity in previous academic performance. However, while strong grades are important in obtaining a visa, the process does not end there.

Your English language proficiency, as indicated by your IELTS or TOEFL score, is also taken into account when deciding on your visa application. A visa officer may doubt your capacity to deal with English-taught courses if you have an irregular and poor score.

Read Our Guide on IELTS Exam 2021 to learn how you can have the ideal score for your student visa immigration.

Using the Student Direct Stream, you can get your study permission faster. The processing time is normally around 20 business days.
